Hi there,

My name is Boon Mark Souphanh from Melbourne, Australia. I am a full-time journalist that enjoys photography in my spare time (I also do event photography on weekends). Choosing a single photo to represent my work was rather difficult as I like to think that I enjoy various styles of photography. I’m new tumblr and would really appreciate your help in getting my photography ‘out there’.

This particular photo was taken on one of my casual photo-walks around town. For those unaware, Melbourne is actually regarded as one of coolest cities in the world when it comes to street art and other similar subcultures. The inner city and CBD is littered with awesome art around just about every corner. I hope this photo kind of encapsulates that.

My favorite part of photography is exploring the strange and placing objects and people into situations where they don’t usually belong. Black and White film will always be my first love, and my camera the love of my life. This photo is of my father in his suit and tie, walking through the woods in Sisters, OR. Family members and friends prove to be the most willing of models.

A 24 year old from Sweden that shoots with a Nikon D60. Using mostly a fixed 35 mm lens but the standard 18-55 as well. Trying mostly to capture human portraits in both urban and rural landscapes.
